Clinical Problem Solving- January 2022


I have been given the following Assignment in an attempt to read, comprehend, analyze, reflect upon and discuss captured patient centered data.


 Please go through one of  the case reports in the conference link shared above and provide your critical appraisal of the captured data in terms of completeness, correctness and ability to provide useful leads to analyze the diagnostic and therapeutic uncertainties around the cases shared.


 I have reviewed this BLOG..

Quantitative assessment : 7/10

Qualitative assessment :

  • No pictorial representation for easy understanding
  • Should have used bullet points to make it less clumsier.
  • The case  must have been more presentable.

Positives:  

  • Title of the problem describes the clinical complaints of the patient 
  • Case sheet is novel and ethically sound, as patient is completely deindentified
  • Case history is adequately taken and well described. Also detailed case history from dept. Of Psychiatry is included.
  • History of present illness is clear and well described.
  • Past History is adequate and includes the medication prescribed/used by the consumed by the patient for his previous complaints.
  • Treatment list is properly emphasised 

Negatives : 

  • Personal history is incomplete as it doesn't include Patient leaving his house 8 years ago and coming back by himself 4 years later(i.e he was missing for 4 years)
